You know how to remove makeup without makeup remover, you just don’t want to have to use that chemical stuff. But, let’s get real here girls. Yes, it’ll work but it will take longer and you will not be able to get rid of all of it. Plus, why use something like that when there are other tools out there? As with any chemical based products, soap and warm water will only bead up and move over when in contact with your skin.

But, there is a way to remove makeup without using chemicals that may cause your skin to break out or irritate it. Here is a little tip that may help you finally find that long-desired solution to the question of how to remove makeup without makeup remover. It has to do a lot with the ingredients that are in your mascara. Let me explain.

If you use waterproof mascara, chances are that your eye makeup is not being removed completely. Believe it or not, some makeup removers will not even get that far because some ingredients are too dense to pass through your eyelashes. The truth is, the makeup is being clogged by a build up of products. If you try to take off the mascara, you are likely to be left with smudges, lines, or wrinkles around your eyes.

So, what are you supposed to do?

The answer is simple, you are going to need to use a product that contains a lip balm. There are two that I can recommend. The first one is a lip balm that has a tiny bit of olive oil in it. To use this product you simply wet your cotton pad and then apply to your lips at least once.

You then take your fingers and pull your entire hand back towards you on both sides so that the ball goes all the way across your face. Then take your fingers and gently tug on your lower lashes and follow up with the upper lashes. This will remove any excess oil that is stuck in between your lashes. After doing this for a few minutes you will notice that the balm is now a nice light lather and you can now remove your makeup with ease.

If you have eyelashes that are extremely mascara prone, you may want to also try an olive oil based makeup without makeup remover. To do this, simply wet your cotton pad and then rub some olive oil onto your lashes. Massage your lashes gently for a few minutes and then rinse them off with warm water. Repeat this process until your mascara wand is clean. Once you are done you can wipe away the rest of your mascara with this same solution.
